About Us
Only The Best For Our Girls
Our Staff & Volunteers
Our deep bench of experienced staff members and volunteers are fully vetted and registered care givers as per the State of California and Contra Costa County. Together, we work as a team to provide top adolescent behavioral healthcare in a family-style environment. Our shared therapeutic and educational philosophies, coupled with our genuine concern for our girls, makes for a successful environment.
Our team members are hired for their strong clinical credentials and experience; once hired, all staff members continue their professional development in the form of seminars, classes, experiential learning, mentoring, case studies analysis, research, and writing.
Our History
Birthed in 2020 by Alicia Culbertson, during the unfortunate time of the Covid-19 pandemic, Reach To Win Youth Home & Family Services, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, was established to serve girls 12 to18 years of age and non-minor dependents 19 to 21 years of age, in a structured and therapeutic environment. Taking notice of the economic and emotional destruction during the time of the pandemic and how much of it affected marginalized girls, Ms. Culbertson immediately felt compelled to make a difference. Educating herself on the potential negative impact on our youth, especially maturing girls, tugged at her heart tremendously. This “tug” lead to Ms. Culbertson seeing things differently… a brighter outcome, she states that “2020 was my year of perfect vision.” To that end, Ms. Culbertson was on a mission to develop a safe haven with supportive measures for a positive outcome. Under the guidance of Ms. Culbertson, Reach To Win Youth Home & Family Services, seeks to create a highly structured, yet intimate treatment approach for girls with serious emotional and behavioral challenges. Ms. Culbertson’s idea is to establish a professional therapeutic community that will make it possible to work in-depth to bring about significant change in a comfortable, home-like environment— i.e. work, study, play, and sharing meals together – could be joined with therapeutic modalities which would respond to mind, heart, body, and spirit, so that the whole person can be addressed.
